Contract - a sector constantly expanding and evolving both at home in Italy and internationally - which now involves all spheres of planning and design, spanning hospitality, retail, residential or the workplace. It is a detailed process that confirms the importance of the core values of innovative, coordinated and conscious planning. Contract is a sequence of coordinated phases and is configured predominantly as a team project, in which the architect plays the key role of planner and designer as well as strategic director.

It sounds simple, but it is not at all. “Contract” remains a vague expression for many people if they do not know its rules and processes.
As for the professionals, Architects and Interior Designers, it is about how to develop the Project in its various stages, Concept Design, Preliminary, Final and Executive, how to work out the specifications, the list of chosen materials confirmed by the Client, how to contribute to the preparation of the tender documents on the basis of the Budgets, identify together with the Client the Companies that can be nominated for the execution of the works and then comparatively analyze their bids of the Companies on the basis of their economic bids and working drawings.
It is clear that in order to develop the process briefly described, the Designer must devote a great deal of time, attention, and support to the companies interested in carrying out the work or parts of it so that they can respond to the needs of the Project.
Contract is thus a coordinated sequence of phases and is primarily a team effort in which the architect plays not only the fundamental role of designer but also the equally strategic role of coordinator.
Dealing with “CONTRACT” in a successful way takes a lot of preparation, experience and determination on the part of all involved.
