Curated by architect Massimo De Conti, ORME is an opportunity to discover the creative process that typifies the designer’s work, portrayed via 10 large-scale illustrations, objects, small prototypes and evocative texts.
A celebration of “form as activator of emotions”, ORME focusses on perception of material more than simply material itself.
“Designing is first and foremost about comprehension and listening. One of the fundamental aspects of my approach to design is the perception of the value, meaning and role we attribute to the objects in our lives. It is a mysterious and complex investigation in which I constantly seek to imagine a relationship between the product and its user, more emotional than material. I am full of admiration for the communicative power of objects and I consider them to be activators of emotions rather than performing machines.”

With “Di/Segno”, Pianca & Partners consolidates its role as an incubator of ideas and establishes itself as a living place, dedicated to the culture of design. A way, too, to show his sensitivity towards the protagonists of the design’s world.
Architects can request one CFP Professional Training Credit for visiting the exhibition, with self-certification on the im@teria platform.
